Summary
VizeraLabs built a projector-based augmented reality system that cast digital overlays directly onto physical objects, bypassing screens and smart glasses entirely. Its first application targeted furniture retail: projectors equipped with depth sensors displayed different fabric and pattern options onto showroom pieces, letting shoppers visualize the full product range without stocking every variant in-store.

Augmented reality through projectors
Vizera was an augmented reality company that used projectors with depth sensors to project an AR layer onto real world objects, rather than using screens/smart glasses. Our first application was in retail where we partnered with top furniture retailers to display their selection of different fabrics/patterns by using our projectors in their smaller showrooms to improve their in store revenue.
