About The Subvocal Company
Summary
The Subvocal Company builds Murmur, an under-chin wearable that reads jaw, tongue, and throat muscle signals to convert silent speech into text and computer commands in real time. It targets knowledge workers who need to send messages, capture notes, or control apps without typing or speaking aloud, replacing keyboard input and voice commands in situations where either is impractical. No microphone or camera is involved: the device decodes biosignals, previews actions before they fire, and lets users confirm or undo each command.
Go-to-market
The product launches with a defined command set for messaging and note-taking in tools like Slack, Teams, and email, targeting individual users who can expand capability over time through a self-serve onboarding model.

Talk to your computer without talking
We're building a silent speech wearable that lets you talk to your computer at the speed of voice, but silently and completely imperceptibly to everyone around you.
