About Tensr
Summary
Tensr operates a robotic factory that manufactures robots and their components for other robotics companies. Running a 12,000-square-foot facility in Emeryville, California, the factory handles electronics, machined metal and plastic parts, and final assembly, replacing the role of traditional contract manufacturers with autonomous robotic cells that learn each product and use build data to improve production planning. Tensr is also deploying the same robotic cell architecture to the International Space Station, extending autonomous manufacturing to low Earth orbit.

We’re a group of Berkeley graduate robotics researchers who previously won a full scale autonomous IndyCar competition at 160mph.
