About Taiga

GPAgent's own fund-neutral profile, written from public information. Updated Oct 4, 2026.

Summary

Taiga handles end-to-end medical billing for independent doctor's offices, replacing in-house billing staff and manual coding workflows. Its AI reads visit data from a practice's EHR, assigns the correct billing codes, scrubs claims before submission, and manages denials and appeals with insurers. The work it displaces: manual charge entry, first-pass claim review, and the staff time spent chasing down rejected or underpaid claims.

Business model

A managed billing service; practices hand off the full billing loop rather than paying per claim or per seat.

Go-to-market

Independent physician practices are the buyer; they start by connecting their EHR and letting Taiga take over coding and claims from day one, with a team available for direct support throughout onboarding.

How Taiga describes itself in Y Combinator's public directory.

Autonomous medical billing

Taiga automates medical billing for doctor's offices. A doctor uploads their visit data, our AI figures out the right billing codes, checks the claim for errors, and submits it to insurance, dealing with any denials. Faster billing, fewer rejected claims, less busywork. We're Nanda and Adam, friends since 3rd grade. Both of our parents are doctors with their own practices, and billing was always a source of stress and lost revenue for them. We want providers to treat patients while we handle the rest.
