Shepherd is a YC Summer 2026 (S26) company. Based in San Francisco, CA, USA. Team of 3.
About Shepherd
Summary
Shepherd builds a unified memory layer for technical teams, ingesting communications, documents, and code from tools like Slack, GitHub, Notion, and Confluence into a single indexed store. Engineers working across hardware, firmware, software, and research can trace why decisions were made and how they crossed disciplines, replacing the manual work of hunting context across disconnected systems. AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor can query the same memory via MCP, giving them full team context without human hand-holding.
Go-to-market
Shepherd targets B2B technical teams at hardware and software companies. It is available as a Mac app and a web app, with a direct line to the founders for early enterprise conversations.

Score every batch against your own thesis
GPAgent's sourcing agent reads every company in a batch, scores each one against your fund's thesis in a private workspace, and lines up the founders worth meeting before Demo Day. You decide who to contact. Your scores, notes, and pipeline never appear on these pages.
