Summary
Baud designs custom AI chips and a companion developer platform that train and serve neural networks far more efficiently than current hardware. The core innovation is an arithmetic representation that replaces multiplications with additions, packing an order of magnitude more compute and memory into the same die area and cutting power consumption. A PyTorch-compatible compiler lets AI teams run existing code on Baud hardware without rewriting kernels or training recipes, removing the main adoption barrier that has historically stalled custom silicon.
