About Audora
Summary
Audora converts written stories into multi-voice audiobooks, assigning a distinct, personality-matched voice to each character and a separate voice to the narrator. It targets readers of fanfiction, self-published fiction, and web serials on platforms like AO3, Wattpad, and Substack, producing audio for stories that professional studios never record. The product replaces flat, single-narrator text-to-speech tools and the manual work of casting and producing a full-cast audiobook.
Business model
A free preview on linked stories, with file uploads requiring a paid plan or per-use Credits.
Go-to-market
Readers self-serve by pasting a story URL or uploading a file directly on the site, with no account or payment required to hear an initial preview, lowering the barrier to a first listen before conversion to a paid tier.

Audiobooks where every character has their own voice.
Audora turns your book or story into an audiobook where every character has their own voice. The best adaptation of a book is the one in your head. You can see the characters in front of you and hear them talking to each other. We want an audiobook to do those characters justice: a voice that fits each of them, so a conversation actually sounds like a conversation. Paste a story link or upload a file. Audora works out who’s speaking and gives each character a distinct voice alongside the narrator. You can start listening while the rest of the book is still being made. Our roots are in fanfiction. We’re building for readers who already know these characters by heart, with a focus on voices that capture their personalities and stay consistent throughout the story.
