About Lumeria
Summary
Lumeria builds a multispectral phone-clip camera, the Lumoscope, that gives consumers clinical-grade skin imaging at home. The device reads redness, pigmentation, and sebum in a single scan, then tracks changes over time to surface what is driving breakouts, wrinkles, and inflammation before they are visible to the naked eye. The companion software cross-references that scan history against an ingredient database of 18,000 products to tell users what is actually working in their routine, replacing guesswork and periodic dermatology visits.
Business model
$299 hardware purchase plus a Premium subscription, with three months of Premium included at launch.
Go-to-market
Lumeria sells direct to consumers via its website, with pre-orders open now and hardware shipping January 2027.

Oura Ring for Skin
The Lumoscope is a multispectral camera that clips onto your phone and scans your skin at home with the same light used in clinics. You see what a mirror can't: a breakout days before it surfaces, and wrinkles changing over time. Our software then reads that history, connects flare-ups to causes you'd never suspect, and matches products to what your own data shows works.
